Interest Rates

I was just reading a newsletter from Countrywide. Interest rates have not been this low since 2003. They are saying they could be 5% before Christmas. I had a client lock in at a rate of 5.375 this week. Can't believe it! What a savings on the mortgage payments?!?!?!!?

This is a great time to take advantage of the bargains and interest rates. Tell me what you current interest rate is.

Recession?!?!?!

Well, according to the news today we are in a recession. Are you optimistic or pessimistic?

I was raised to be optimistic. Ok...so maybe we are in a recession. I believe now is the time to take advantage of low priced investments. Low priced stocks, lower priced homes, lower priced cars.

We are in a great buyers market. I have been seeing sellers, especially builders, discounted their prices tremendously. If you plan on staying in your next home for a few years, now is the time to buy. Having said that.......if you have a house to sell, now is not the time to sell. How do you have the best of both worlds? The best solution is to buy now and sell later. The rental market is flourishing. Consumers can not qualify as easily before and therefore are renting.

Don't forget the interest rates are still low.

Tell me what you think about our market.
